A six week meditation course online, we join together to practice on a Monday Evening at 8pm until 8:45pm.

Yes ! And welcome! The first step is setting the intention and then protect the time for yourself.
We are all meeting ourselves for the first time in every minute that we come to stillness. Therefore, in my eyes it makes no difference whether you have not practised before.
I will be sharing ancient Himalayan Wisdom practice that is not found recorded in any books. These sacred practices have been passed down via the oral tradition in the Himalayas. Each practice has a different quality intention and benefit. Some will resonate more than others. This is why I share a number of different ways to enter towards the inner state of stillness.

I would say try your best to make this committment to yourself. Develop self accountability! It is an important quality if we are committed to self development and evolution.
However, of course there are times when life happens. So long as the group are in agreement we can record one of the sessions which you can then have to keep.

All you need is you! Perhaps a cushion to sit on or a chair if it is not comfortable for you to sit on the floor.
A recomend a space where you feel safe and ideally will not be disturbed.
Unplug yourself from devices.
Light a candle or burn some essential oil - create a special space for you to retreat into.

All you need is you! A bit of space around you and perhaps something to protect your knees and your sit bones when you are on the floor. ) A mat or a blanket.) Also you might prefer a cushion or a chair to sit on.

Great! Welcome! I salute you for trying something new and different. This is the most important step - showing up! Showing up for you, just for you!
Always listen to your body, most importantly, I am there as a guide and to offer suggestions, you are always your own best teacher. No one knows your body like you do.
The practice really is listening to you and your own wisdom.

Living Yoga Course
An invitation to explore the meaning of yoga to you and take the practice from you mat and into your everyday life.

Brilliant! welcome! This course is a great way to start.
Yoga is not ALL about acumalating knowledge, it is about the experience, the personal unique experience, journey from the self to the self.
We are invited to let go of all that we think we know and to be open and curious to exploring, willing to let go of pre conceived ideas.
This course is about sharing and growing together, our knowledge and understanding, walking each other home.

Michelle and Ali invite you to come on a yoga journey with us and explore this ancient way of living, of being, outside of your mat and infuse it into your everyday life.
We are excited to share with you some of our knowledge, experiences and understanding not only from our learning throughout our trainings but of the application of that learning and deeper understanding and insight gained.
We both feel that we are limited in what we can share with you in our regular practices and therefore, our intention is to bring together a small group where we can support each other, learn and experience something greater than that which we perhaps momentarily glimpse when we practice on our Mat.
In the words of Ram Das, ‘we are all just walking each other home.’
If this resonates with you, and you decide to accept the invitation, you are likely to experience positive change in your life! As within.. so without.
The structure of the course will run over 6 weeks and include 3 live Zoom Meetings (Which will not be recorded and so attendence will be required).There will be self study or Sadhana as it is known in Yoga over the 6 weeks, in between the meetings.
You will be part of a small group and we have set the intention for this to be a supportive community.

I encourage you to tune in to the sensations in the physical body and practice discernment in exploring what feels comfortable for you or sustainable for you. We never recomend staying with pain. This is a sure sign from the body to move out of the position and find something that feels more welcome. Only you know how your body feels. You are the expert of your own body. Listen to the innate wisdom and respond in a way that is acknowledging, kind and curios.
Compassionate curiosity.
